Kokkos training days

CEA, Maison de la Simulation, June 17,18 and 19, 2024.

EoCoE-III is teaming with the CExA project to organize the Kokkos training days, on June 17,18 and 19.

Kokkos is a long-term sustainable software catalyst for GPU computing, which offers performance portability over a wide range of hardware. The CEA-backed CExA project intends to adapt it for European hardware and applications. Gysela-X, EoCoE’s fusion code, is one of the demonstrator applications involved in the CExA project.

This in-person event will be hosted at CEA’s Maison de la Simulation. It will give you the opportunity to learn more about Kokkos, meet Kokkos developers, share about your experience, and join the Kokkos community.

Gray Scott School

The Summer School will be held in Trento from 17 to 21 June 2024 at the University of Trento.

Centres of Excellence

Nine Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for computing applications are now running. They will help strengthen Europe’s existing leadership in HPC (high-performance computing) applications and cover important areas like renewable energy, materials modelling and design, molecular and atomic modelling, climate change, Global System science, and bio-molecular research, and tools to improve HPC applications performance.
